Pumpkin Chickpea Hummus

This quick & easy pumpkin hummus is layered with subtle smoky flavour and warming spices, making it a delicious addition to any platter. Smooth, creamy, and full of goodness, itโ€™s the perfect way to use up pumpkin when itโ€™s in abundance.

Serve it alongside your favourite Kiki crackers for an easy, wholesome snack or add it to a grazing board when youโ€™re entertaining.


Ingredients

  • 1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup roasted pumpkin
  • 2 medium garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon chilli flakes
  • 3 tablespoons tahini
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method

Add all ingredients to a food processor and blend until smooth and creamy. If the hummus feels too thick, add a little cold water, one tablespoon at a time, until you reach your desired consistency.

Transfer to a serving bowl and enjoy with your favourite Kiki crackers, fresh veggies, or as part of a platter.
